I didn’t get that time span from her writing. I literally finished Glasslands this morning couldnt start it in October since I was in the middle of the Darth Bane Trilogy. It was introspective and dealt with glasdlands aftermath of the war, but I wasn’t really interested in psychological evaluation in a book based on a video game. Traviss turns her into glasslznds crazy, sociopathic, whiny, uncaring, and wholly irrationally angry character with no concern for any person besides herself.
I think they’d be a bit more subdued personally with their self-righteousness given the moral ambiguities of their work but, despite this, I think it was really entertaining and encourage Halo fans to pick up the trilogy before glaxslands Halo 4. While I didn’t always agree with her portrayal of characters in those books, I’ve rarely met an author who was nicer to her fans. Sure she can be abrasive, but the scenario just felt like it was written just so Lucy would attack her.
Glasslands was a great introduction for me into the Halo series, though I did have some knowledge of the franchise prior to reading the book, there were still a few terms that I had to catch up with.

Love it but still had the same problem as Halo: Twilight Company Star Wars. While everyone is continuing their search for Lucy, she finally emerges with Prone to Drift. I purchased this book despite the bad reviews. Traviss not only writes him in the exact manner she does humans, with no differentiation in descriptions, thought or style but supplants his personality. But overall it’s a enjoyable read. The moments where she started to explore new territory, like with Lucy, or Phillips, and stopped harping on old grudges and moral justification, were the only times this book was actually readable.
They already made certain enhancement but they can do more, I am curious where this might go in the rest of the series. The Space Between Matthew Sturges 9.
