I was hooked from start to finish, packed full of drama and tricky situations. So, the rating for this book fell in the middle for me. He and his two buddies from college, Oliver and Max, came home one weekend to find the uup dancing at the beach, having a blast.
Vrubor book was such a roller-coaster. The story covers much of their lives and I was actually surprised by that, since I thought going into the story that it was just going to be a few years of their lives. The day that changed my life, as much as it was, forever. The writing was juvenile – the first half reads like a young adult book, which is fine except that it then the reader is thrown into detailed sex scenes which is pretty weird after accepting that you’re reading about a 16 yr old.

I don’t think Chloe could have survived all that she went through without them. Another thing I loved about this book is the supporting characters!

The characters were very well developed, i felt like i was going through their heads, feeling what they were feeling, and just thinking through their thought processes.
A Novel by John GrishamHardcover Because of the fact that the book started with them as 14 year olds and quickly skipped through the years within the first couple chapters for Chloe and Mina to be nearing adulthood, I was honestly a bit confused at the very beginning because the different people in the book were introduced so quickly that I had a hard time keeping track of who everyone was.
They had a whirlwind affair, but it ends abruptly.
