Read, highlight, and take notes, across web, tablet, and desiyn. Every concept is treated in the best manner possible, and all the hidden turns and tweaks become visibly evident.

It’s hard not to draw a comparison, especially altorithm the authors make reading enjoyable. These topics tend to show up in graduate courses more than undergrad courses, so if you’re an undergrad, this probably isn’t the right book for you. The end-of-the-chapter exercises are few of the best one can ever ask for, truly enhancing one’s understanding of concepts. I’m not normally a fan of CS textbooks, but this one is great.

The text encourages an understanding of the algorithm design process and an appreciation of the alforithm of algorithms in the broader field of computer science.
The second page of the book, “About the Authors,” is glued for the first half inch to the page in front of it, covering up about the first four letters of each line of text.
